Fourth

 

Since I was going to be in NYC so close to the Fourth, I couldn't NOT stay.  

 

After much debate, I decided to view the fireworks from the flight deck of the USS Intrepid on the Hudson.  

 

The nation's largest fireworks display was set off from 4 barges on the Hudson River.

 

It was gorgeous!  And I wasn't stuck on a boat for 6 hours (a different option available) nor was I sitting in the hot, hot sun for 12 hours just to get a good spot.
